Welcome to the Developmental Methodology Lab! This lab was created in 2018 under the direction of Dr. Fanny-Alexandra Guimond and is interested in the role of various socialization agents such as parents, peer, and teachers in children’s and adolescents’ psychosocial development.

Knowledge Mobilization

Knowledge mobilization refers to the collaborative development, dissemination, uptake, and implementation of research findings in a way that impacts people. We regularly publish our research in scientific journals and participate in conference presentations. We also share our research with the public through our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Prospective Students

Students interested in volunteering, completing an Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) project, an honours thesis, or graduate studies at the Developmental Methodology Lab should contact the lab's director, Dr. Fanny-Alexandra Guimond . The best time to contact her for volunteering positions would be in the months of August and April to volunteer for the Fall/Winter semesters or Summer semester, respectively. Interested honours thesis students should contact her in the fall or winter semester of their third year.
